Greetings in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

   The Word of God reminds us that Jesus, even as a child, had to flee with Joseph and Mary to Egypt to save his life. He was not born surrounded by human security, but in fragility, in silence, and in the trusting obedience of a family that listened to the voice of God.

   Joseph, a righteous man, did not hesitate to rise in the night and set out on the journey. His faith was not expressed in words, but in concrete actions: protecting life, trusting in God, and moving forward even in the midst of fear and uncertainty. Thus, God transformed exile into a path of salvation and fulfilled his promises: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

   This Gospel speaks to us today. Many of our brothers and sisters are experiencing situations of displacement, insecurity, difficult decisions, and unexpected changes. Amidst all of this, God does not abandon his people. He continues to speak to our hearts, to guide our steps, and to remind us that no night is so dark that it can extinguish his light.

   Let us ask for the grace to have a heart attentive to the Lord's voice, like Joseph; a trusting heart, like Mary; and a heart open to hope, like the Child Jesus, who came to dwell among us to save us.

   May the Lord bless our families, accompany those who are going through difficult times, and grant us the grace to always walk under his protection.

By doing so, you have made it easier for us to embrace our Lord Jesus in the manger, and to receive him in the Eucharist.    ¡Saludos en el nombre de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo!      La Palabra de Dios nos recuerda que Jesús, siendo aún niño, tuvo que huir con José y María a Egipto para salvar su vida. No nació rodeado de seguridades humanas, sino en la fragilidad, en el silencio y en la obediencia confiada de una familia que escuchó la voz de Dios.

   José, hombre justo, no dudó en levantarse en la noche y ponerse en camino. Su fe no se expresó en palabras, sino en acciones concretas: proteger la vida, confiar en Dios y seguir adelante aun en medio del miedo y la incertidumbre. Así, Dios transformó el exilio en camino de salvación y cumplió sus promesas: “De Egipto llamé a mi hijo”.

   Este Evangelio nos habla hoy a nosotros. Muchos hermanos viven situaciones de huida, de inseguridad, de decisiones difíciles y de cambios inesperados. En medio de todo ello, Dios no abandona a su pueblo. Él sigue hablando al corazón, sigue guiando nuestros pasos y nos recuerda que ninguna noche es tan oscura como para apagar su luz.

   Pidamos la gracia de tener un corazón atento a la voz del Señor, como José; un corazón confiado, como María; y un corazón abierto a la esperanza, como el Niño Jesús, que vino a habitar entre nosotros para salvarnos.

   Que el Señor bendiga a nuestras familias, acompañe a quienes viven momentos de dificultad y nos conceda caminar siempre bajo su protección. ¡Feliz Navidad y Próspero Año Nuevo a todos ustedes! ¡Muchas gracias por ayudar a hacer de esta temporada Navideña una experiencia muy alegre para todos nosotros! Al hacerlo, nos han hecho más fácil abrazar a nuestro Señor Jesús en el pesebre y recibirlo en la Eucaristía.
