From the Pastor's Heart/DESDE EL CORAZÓN DEL PASTOR
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ truly present in the Eucharist on this Solemnity of Corpus Christi Day! The word, “Eucharist,” means “Thanksgiving”. Therefore, Jesus is our Thanksgiving to God our Father in Heaven!
Our Lord Jesus’ love is so real for us that He has given Himself to us in Holy Communion! We can even receive Him daily during the Mass!
Sacred Scripture is very clear about our belief in Jesus’ true presence in the Eucharist, especially in John 6:53-58:
Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
Thanks be to God Our Father who has showered us with His Fatherly Love through the Resurrected Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, our Blessed Lord, Redeemer and Savior! This is truly the greatest GIFT and SACRAMENT that we have received as Catholics!

¡Saludos en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo verdaderamente presente en la Eucaristía en esta Solemnidad del Día del Corpus Christi! La palabra Eucaristía significa Acción de Gracias. ¡Por lo tanto, Jesús es nuestra acción de gracias a Dios nuestro Padre en el Cielo! ¡El amor de nuestro Señor Jesús es tan real por nosotros que se ha entregado a nosotros en la Sagrada Comunión! ¡Incluso podemos recibirlo diariamente durante la Misa!
La Sagrada Escritura es muy clara acerca de nuestra creencia en la verdadera presencia de Jesús en la Eucaristía, especialmente en Juan 6:53-58:
Jesús les dijo: "Yo les aseguro: Si no comen la carne del Hijo del hombre y no beben su sangre, no podrán tener vida en ustedes. El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, tiene vida eterna y yo lo resucitaré el último día. Mi carne es verdadera comida y mi sangre es verdadera bebida. El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre, permanece en mí y yo en él. Como el Padre, que me ha enviado, posee la vida y yo vivo por él, así también el que me come vivirá por mí. Éste es el pan que ha bajado del cielo; no es como el maná que comieron sus padres, pues murieron. El que come de este pan vivirá para siempre''.
¡Gracias a Dios Nuestro Padre que nos ha colmado de Su Amor Paternal a través del Cuerpo Resucitado, su Sangre, Alma y Divinidad de Jesucristo, nuestro Bendito Señor, Redentor y Salvador! ¡Este es verdaderamente el REGALO y SACRAMENTO más grande que hemos recibido como católicos!

CONSTRUCTION FUND UPDATE
The second collection for the Construction Fund will take place on the second and fourth weekends of each month. These collections will help cover the costs of the rectory bathroom, the remodeling of the parish kitchen, and the Parish Hall and its bathrooms. As of May 24, 2026, we have raised a total of $104,972.58. We thank everyone for your generosity and continued support.
ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL FONDO DE CONSTRUCCIÓN:
La segunda colecta para el Fondo de Construcción se llevará a cabo durante el fin de semana del 13 y 14 de Junio del 2026. Esta colecta ayudará a cubrir los costos del baño de la rectoría, la renovación de la cocina parroquial, así como del Salón Parroquial y sus baños. Hasta la fecha, hemos recaudado un total de $104,972.58. Agradecemos a todos su generosidad y continuo apoyo.
