Dear Brothers and Sisters, This week’s Gospel has the disciples asking Jesus, “Increase our faith!” something I think most of us have prayed at one time or another. Jesus responds in a surprising way: He tells them that even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains (or mulberry trees, in this case!). What’s He saying? That it’s not about how much faith we have, but how we live it out. Even small faith, when put into action with trust and obedience, makes a difference. Jesus also reminds us that we’re servants doing what we’ve been called to do—not for applause or attention, but out of love for God. In other words: stay faithful, stay humble, and keep going. This week let’s be encouraged. Whatever we’re facing, however small our faith might feel, God can use it in powerful ways.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas, El Evangelio de esta semana nos muestra a los discípulos pidiéndole a Jesús: "¡Auméntanos la fe!", algo que creo que la mayoría hemos pedido en oración alguna vez. Jesús responde de forma sorprendente: les dice que incluso una fe del tamaño de un grano de mostaza puede mover montañas (¡o a un árbol frondoso, en este caso!). ¿Qué está diciendo? Que no se trata de cuánta fe tengamos, sino de cómo la vivamos. Incluso una fe pequeña, cuando se pone en práctica con confianza y obediencia, marca la diferencia. Jesús también nos recuerda que somos siervos que hacemos lo que hemos sido llamados a hacer, no para obtener aplausos ni atención, sino por amor a Dios. En otras palabras: mantente fiel, sé humilde y sigue adelante. Esta semana, animémonos. Sea lo que sea que estemos enfrentando, por pequeña que parezca nuestra fe, Dios puede utilizarla de maneras poderosas.
