DAILY MASS:
No Mass on Monday, November 17th and Tuesday, November 18th, but there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
No Mass on Wednesday, November 19th at 6:00 p.m. and no confessions, but we will have Holy Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
MISA DIARIA:
Lunes 17 y Martes 18 de Noviembre: No habrá Misa a las 8:15 a.m., pero sí habrá Adoración al Santísimo Sacramento de 9:00 a.m. a 8:30 p.m.
Miércoles 19 de Noviembre: No habrá Misa a las 6:00 p.m. ni confesiones, pero tendremos Hora Santa de 6:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.

CONSTRUCTION FUND UPDATE:
We will have a second collection on the first and third weekend of each month for the Construction Fund to cover the costs of the rectory bathroom, the remodeling of the parish kitchen, and the Parish Hall and its bathrooms. To date we have raised $59,063.23 toward our goal of $125,000.
Actualización del Fondo de Constucción:
Tendremos una segunda colecta el Primer y tercer fin de semana de cada mes, para el Fondo de Construcción para cubrir los costos del baño de la rectoría, la remodelación de la cocina de la parroquia y el Salón Parroquial y sus baños. Hasta ahora, el 2 Noviembre, hemos recaudado $59,063.23 y necesitamos completar los $125,000.

From the Pastor's Heart/DESDE EL CORAZÓN DEL PASTOR
Greetings in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Perseverance—what does this important word mean? It means remaining steadfast in our plans and good intentions. Persevering in our studies, at work, and in our family relationships requires enthusiasm and energy every day. Nothing is easy, and today Jesus invites us not to be afraid of the adversities and catastrophes we see today, but to overcome trials with faith and trust in a God who does not disappoint: “Not a hair of your head will perish.” And he adds another phrase that invites us to awaken from our spiritual slumber: “Stand firm and you will be saved” (Luke 21:18-19).
On behalf of Deacons Duane, Alfonso, and Fernando, all of you receive a very special thank you for the great detail you took in organizing a reception to celebrate with them their anniversary of diaconal ordination last November 8th and 9th.

The Deacons were very happy to have been celebrated, what they liked most about their celebration were the hugs they received from all the children and the joy of the parishioners, their smiles and hugs they gave them. They thank you infinitely for all your love and trust.
To allow me to rest and relax, I ask that you pray for me during my vacation, which ends on November 21st. I will keep you in my prayers and at Masses during my absence.

La perseverancia, ¿qué significa esta palabra tan importante? Es mantenernos firmes en nuestros planes y buenos propósitos. Perseverar en los estudios, en el trabajo y en las relaciones familiares requiere entusiasmo y energía cada día. Nada es fácil, y hoy Jesús nos invita a no tener miedo ante las adversidades y catástrofes que vemos actualmente, sino a superar las pruebas con fe y confianza en un Dios que no defrauda: "Con todo, ni un cabello de su cabeza se perderá". Y agrega otra frase que nos invita a despertar del letargo espiritual: "Manténganse firmes y se salvarán" (Lucas 21:18-19).
Por parte de los Diáconos Duane, Alfonso y Fernando, reciban todos ustedes un agradecimiento muy especial por el gran detalle que tuvieron al organizarles una recepción para celebrar con ellos el pasado fin de semana sus aniversarios de ordenación diaconal:
Diácono Duane Fischer – 3 de Noviembre de 2006. Diácono Alfonso López – 3 de Noviembre de 2006. Diácono Fernando Marín – 15 de Julio de 2010.
Los Diáconos estuvieron muy contentos de que los hayan festejado, lo que más les gusto de su festejo fueron los abrazos que ellos recibieron de parte de todos los niños y la alegría de los feligreses, sus sonrisas y abrazos que les dieron. Ellos les agradecen infinitamente todo su cariño y confianza.
Para poder descansar y relajarme, les pido que recen por mí durante mis vacaciones, mismas que terminan el 21 de Noviembre. Los tendré presentes en mis oraciones y Misas durante mi ausencia.
