PRAYER AND LIFE WORKSHOP
A Prayer and Life Workshop is a practical method for learning to pray in a variety of ways while deepening personal spirituality.
This workshop has been offered in parishes throughout the Archdiocese and will be conducted in English only.
Begins: Thursday, August 20
Time: 7:00–9:00 p.m.
Location: Room 2-20
Duration: 15 weekly, two-hour sessions
Cost: Free
Workshop Materials: $15
All are welcome to participate.

I am super excited about this year’s Religious Education offered to our parish family! As you already know, we have closed the registration for religious education for children and young people. However, for the adults in the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), we will continue to have enrollments for them until August 28th.
We will begin our Religious Education Classes on September 2nd for all children and youth, and we will begin our OCIA classes on September 3rd.
Together with Maria Escobar, our Co-Director of Religious Education, and Religious Education Team (Gaby Zamarripa, Martha Valles, Magdalena Camacho, Norma Saldierna and Carmen Sustaita), we will be able to have a superb Catechetical Year for our children and young people! Together with Deacon Fernando Marin, our Director of Adult Faith Enrichment, and his Team of Adults, we will have a great year for our adults! Let us continue to pray for our church community, so that we can walk together toward our Heavenly Homeland.

¡Estoy muy entusiasmado con el programa de Educación Religiosa que ofrecemos este año a nuestra familia parroquial! Como ya saben, hemos cerrado las inscripciones de Educación Religiosa para niños y jóvenes. Sin embargo, para los adultos interesados en el OICA (Orden de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos), las inscripciones permanecerán abiertas hasta el 28 de Agosto.
Las clases de Educación Religiosa para todos los niños y jóvenes comenzarán el 2 de Septiembre, y las clases del OICA iniciarán el 3 de Septiembre.
¡Junto con María Escobar, nuestra Co-Directora de Educación Religiosa, y el equipo de Educación Religiosa (Gaby Zamarripa, Martha Valles, Magdalena Camacho, Norma Saldierna y Carmen Sustaita), lograremos un año catequético excelente para nuestros niños y jóvenes!
¡Asimismo, junto con el Diácono Fernando Marín, nuestro Director de Formación en la Fe para Adultos, y su equipo, tendremos un gran año para los adultos! Sigamos orando por nuestra comunidad eclesial, para que podamos caminar juntos hacia nuestra Patria Celestial.

CONSTRUCTION CAMPAIGN FUND UPDATE
The second collection for the Construction Fund will take place on the second and fourth weekends of each month. There will be NO collection July 25 and 26, 2026. These collections will help cover the costs of the rectory bathroom, the remodeling of the parish kitchen, and the Parish Hall and its bathrooms. As of August 10, 2026, we have raised a total of $110,266.58. We thank everyone for your generosity and continued support.

NO HABRÁ segunda colecta para el Fondo de Construcción este cuarto fin de semana del 25 y 26 de Julio del 2026. Esta colecta ayuda a cubrir los costos del baño de la rectoría, la renovación de la cocina parroquial, así como del Salón Parroquial y sus baños. Spanish: After the 12:00 noon Mass
All ushers are encouraged to attend the training in their respective language. We are also still in need of volunteers to serve as ushers at Mass. If you are interested in serving this important ministry, please come to the training.!
LECTORS NEEDED! Our parish is seeking volunteers to serve as Lectors for Saturday 5:00 pm Mass. Lectors have the privilege of proclaiming the Word of God during the Liturgy of the Word, helping our parish community prayerfully celebrate the Eucharist.
