Daily Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel 

 We need more Eucharistic Adorers to spend time at the feet of Jesus in the Eucharist within the Chapel. Exposition takes place Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel. If you would like to sign up to spend time at the feet of Jesus in the Eucharist, please choose a day and time each week and send a text message to Deacon Fernando Marin at (405) 977-7814.


Adoración Eucarística diaria en la Capilla  Necesitamos más adoradores eucarísticos para pasar tiempo a los pies de Jesús en la Eucaristía dentro de la Capilla. La Exposición tiene lugar de lunes a viernes de 9:00 a.m. a 8:30 p.m. en la Capilla. Si deseas inscribirte para pasar tiempo a los pies de Jesús en la Eucaristía, por favor elige un día y hora cada semana y envía un mensaje de texto al Diácono Fernando Marín al (405) 977-7814.

From the Pastor's Heart/DESDE EL CORAZÓN DEL PASTOR

   I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who helped make my birthday last weekend such a special and joyful occasion. Thank you for your prayers, kind words, cards, gifts, and the love you shared with me. I am truly blessed to be part of this Church!!! May God reward you most abundantly for your kindness! 

   I also want to let you know that I will be away from our parish from September 24- October 1. During this time, I ask for your prayers, and continued support for our parish community.

   Our CHURCH CARNIVAL – It is now only 3 weeks away, and we need everyone's help to make it a great success! There are many ways you can participate:

  • Please help us buy and/or sell raffle tickets. Every ticket makes a difference!
  • We also need donations of water and sodas. Please bring them to the office.
  • Most importantly, please continue to pray for the success of our carnival and for all those who are working so hard to make it possible.         

   When we work together, we strengthen our parish family, and create something beautiful for our community. Thank you for your generosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to help!

   A Short Reflection for this Sunday’s Gospel Passage (Matthew 21:28-32): A father asks his two sons to go to work in the vineyard. The first son initially says NO, but later changes his mind, and goes. The second son says YES, but never goes. Jesus asks, “Which of the two did his father's will?” The answer is clear: the first SON.

   This Gospel reminds us that God looks not only at what we say, but at what we do. Sometimes we may hesitate, make mistakes, or even say “NO” at first. However, we always have the opportunity to change our hearts, and respond to God's invitation.

   Our parish carnival is also an opportunity to put our faith into action. It is easy to say, “I will help,” but the true spirit of service is shown when we actually give our time, our resources and our talents for the edification of God’s Holy Church.

   May we be people whose “YES” to God is lived through our actions! May our service to one another become a beautiful expression of our faith and love!

   Thank you once again for your prayers, generosity, and support. Let us continue working together as one parish family, trusting that God will bless all our efforts.

   Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a todos ustedes que ayudaron a hacer de mi cumpleaños, el fin de semana pasado, una ocasión tan especial y alegre. Gracias por sus oraciones, sus amables palabras, tarjetas, regalos y el amor que compartieron conmigo. ¡¡¡Me siento verdaderamente bendecido de formar parte de esta Iglesia!!! ¡Que Dios los recompense abundantemente por su bondad!

   También quiero informarles que estaré ausente de nuestra parroquia del 24 de Septiembre al 1 de Octubre. Durante este tiempo, les pido sus oraciones y su continuo apoyo para nuestra comunidad parroquial.             Nuestro CARNAVAL PARROQUIAL: ¡Faltan solo 3 semanas y necesitamos la ayuda de todos para que sea un gran éxito! Hay muchas formas en las que ustedes pueden participar:

  • Por favor, ayúdenos a comprar y/o vender boletos para la rifa. ¡Cada boleto marca la diferencia!
  • También necesitamos donaciones de agua y refrescos. Por favor, tráiganlos a la oficina.
  • Y lo más importante: por favor, sigan orando por el éxito de nuestro carnaval y por todos aquellos que trabajan arduamente para hacerlo posible.

   Cuando trabajamos juntos, fortalecemos a nuestra familia parroquial y creamos algo hermoso para nuestra comunidad. ¡Gracias por su generosidad, entusiasmo y disposición para ayudar!

   Una breve reflexión sobre el pasaje del Evangelio de este Domingo (Mateo 21, 28-32): Un padre pide a sus dos hijos que vayan a trabajar a la viña. El primer hijo dice inicialmente que NO, pero luego cambia de opinión y va. El segundo hijo dice que SÍ, pero nunca va. Jesús pregunta: "¿Cuál de los dos hizo la voluntad de su padre?". La respuesta es clara: el primer hijo.

   Este Evangelio nos recuerda que Dios no solo mira lo que decimos, sino lo que hacemos. A veces podemos dudar, cometer errores o incluso decir "NO" al principio. Sin embargo, siempre tenemos la oportunidad de cambiar nuestro corazón y responder a la invitación de Dios.

   Nuestro carnaval parroquial es también una oportunidad para poner nuestra fe en acción. Es fácil decir "ayudaré", pero el verdadero espíritu de servicio se demuestra cuando realmente dedicamos nuestro tiempo, nuestros recursos y nuestros talentos a la edificación de la Santa Iglesia de Dios.

   ¡Que seamos personas cuyo «SÍ» a Dios se viva a través de nuestras acciones! ¡Que nuestro servicio mutuo se convierta en una hermosa expresión de nuestra fe y nuestro amor!

   Gracias una vez más por sus oraciones, generosidad y apoyo. Sigamos trabajando juntos como una sola familia parroquial, confiando en que Dios bendecirá todos nuestros esfuerzos.

CONSTRUCTION CAMPAIGN FUND UPDATE

The second collection for the Construction Fund will take place on the second and fourth weekends of each month. These collections will help cover the costs of the rectory bathroom, the remodeling of the parish kitchen, and the Parish Hall and its bathrooms. As of September 14, 2026, we have raised a total of $116,673.39. We thank everyone for your generosity and continued support.


ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL FONDO DE DE LA CAMPAÑA DE CONSTRUCCIÓN: La segunda colecta para el Fondo de Construcción se llevará a cabo durante el fin de semana del 12 y 13 de Septiembre del 2026. Esta colecta ayudará a cubrir los costos del baño de la rectoría, la renovación de la cocina parroquial, así como del Salón Parroquial y sus baños. Hasta la fecha, hemos recaudado un total de $116,673.39. Agradecemos a todos su generosidad y continuo apoyo.
